Run For The Cup puts you in the chair for a full playoff run. You take an NHL franchise, re-draft a 30-man roster, and chase the Cup through the First Round, Conference Final, and Stanley Cup Final. Non-user series play out around you. Your series is the one you have to win on the ice.

The match engine is not a box-score generator. Games play out on a top-down rink with line changes, special teams, and selectable tactical identities. Between periods you can read the recap, check team and player stats, and study the shot map. Between games you manage the room: rest a battered roster, sharpen systems against a possession team, or push conditioning when the series is going long.

What you put on the ice matters. Chemistry, nationality, and pair familiarity change how a line actually behaves. Injuries, form, and health carry from night to night, so a Game 1 hero can be a Game 5 liability if you ignore the medical staff. Scout the next opponent, lock in a starting goalie, and decide whether tonight is a structure night or a finishing night.

It is still in active development, but the loop is already playable: draft, manage, watch, adjust, and try to outlast everyone else in May and June.
