Record Room reimagines online music listening as a place you enter, not a list you scroll. Visitors move through a 3D record shop, open crates, and bring albums into focus as physical objects—with artwork, sequencing, and mood treated as part of the experience.
The project sits at the intersection of music culture, interface design, and browser-based 3D. It’s built for people who care about album art, vinyl ritual, and slower, more intentional discovery—while still connecting to familiar streaming via YouTube and Spotify.
Beyond browsing, Record Room is expanding into shared and performative listening: bracket tournaments for album showdowns, unlockable collectibles hidden in the space, and streamer-oriented tools for ratings, overlays, emotes, and live presentation. The goal is a destination that feels memorable, visual, and personal—where browsing music is as emotional as playing it.
Record Room is an interactive layer around artists’ work, not a replacement for rights holders or streaming platforms. It’s independently developed, lives entirely in the browser, and is actively evolving toward richer storytelling, discovery, and community features.
